Just about every year I make more spooky branches to put somewhere in or around my house. You really cant get enough of them! They just make your Halloween dΓ©cor because you can make them in all sizes and it is so festive! They are simple to do and again …..INEXPENSIVE. I am all about creating ideas for people that are not only adorable but affordable!!
You will need the following supplies to get started..
SUPPLIES
~Dead Branches
~Black Spray Paint (Flat or Glossy)
~ Large Cardboard
~N95 Mask
~Rock
~Terra Cotta Pot or Urn
~Orange String Lights (optional)
2 neccessities!
Mask & Black Spray PaintTake your branches and lay with a little space between. You want to keep the branches somewhat close together so your spray paint will cover more area. Give it one good coat across the front and let it dry for about an hour.
Get each area of branch that you can see⦠From the very bottom to the very top of each branch. After 1 hr. turn all the branches over and spray the other side and all the parts of the branches that you can see that are not spray painted yet.

Follow the guided steps below on stringing the lights…
You can start stringing your lights like you would a Christmas tree starting at the bottom with the plug in around the base where itβs long enough to be able to reach an outlet. Wrap them loose enough that youβre not losing the look of the spooky branch All the way up to the top. And then try to center the branches in the middle. Next youβre going to want to take some gravel or some sort of rocker stabilizer to hold your branches centered.
Once youβre finished youβre ready to find a home for it out front!
