Decorating with Eucalyptus Decor

// eucalyptus sprigs // ceramic ivory vase // wooden candle holders // Nest Candle // Nest Eucalyptus votive candle // blue and ivory accent rug//

Now that we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel of some of the coldest months of the year starting to come to an end, my house still feels a little empty with taking down all the Christmas decorations. Well, in this climate you know it is too cold and early to put out bright Spring flowers, too cold yet to buy anything fresh for outdoors so I started decorating with succulents and eucalyptus a couple years ago and it is just want I needed to fill in the empty sad space in my home!

Follow along with me so I can share a few ways to modernize your home in these dreary times and maybe even get you in the mood for Spring!

I love these simple eucalyptus sprigs. They can go anywhere in the home. I literally have 4 places that this vase with eucalyptus looks good so every 2 days it is in a different spot – You can find the eucalyptus sprigs here.

I found this adorable vase that is so versatile on Amazon. It is sturdy and large enough that I can place it on the floor, the dining room table or coffee table where I know it will be safe. You can find it here.

I realize decorating for this time of year with eucalyptus is an all year long for me now. I love the simple bluish green touches and how it accents the other blues and greens in my home. I use them everywhere –

  • Sprigs in a vase
  • Wreaths on the back of chairs
  • Wreaths around a candle
  • Hanging in a picture frame
  • Front Door Decor
The mini wreaths are even so cute for the holidays tied with a purple bow for Easter, fall colored ribbon for Thanksgiving and for Christmas, you can tie a piece of buffalo plaid ribbon around it and accent your chairs with them and front door with them. They are so versatile and can be used all year round.
This one of my favorites – this vintage frame I found at a garage sale that goes perfectly with this eucalyptus wreath.
I am just in love with this little stone crown decor that fit perfectly on this candle holder. The crown was purchased at my local garden store and is so unique, but I do have a link for you to see if you are interested in these awesome wooden candle holders. Wooden Candle Holders.

I use my votive candle in the crown (listed below) so I can smell the fresh sweetness of eucalyptus all day.
I not only love the look of eucalyptus – I am obsessed with the smell!

But maybe…… I might really love the smell……….. because I love my eucalyptus! If you want to try this amazing candle you can check it out here. You can also try the smaller candle which is the votive and you can see this here.

I work from home by myself and light them all day just for me.

There are so many things I love about this blog and could not miss the chance to write about it. Also on rugs for a minute – Because most everyone comes into my home and comments on my rug and I am ordering more once our basement is finished.

It is inexpensive, so durable and actually cleans up well. It is not a rug that is in the main traffic area of our home because it is protected from being under the dining room table….however there has been plenty spilled on it – all the worst, wine, tomatoe soup, dirty dog paws and the rug still looks brand new. The color is light blue and gray but is so muted it would fit well into any space into your home. You have to check it out here! AND it looks like it is on sale now so it is a good time to buy!

I hope I taught you some home decor decorating tips – Have a great rest of your week and stay tuned for my “soon to be” Spring front porch decorating!

Love,
