Supplies

16″ Plaine Wood Board

4 Beach Hooks

White Chalk Paint

1 Paint Brush

Electric Screw Driver

Distress Ink

You will want to start by painting one good coat of white chalk paint on the wood plank. Let it dry.

While your board is drying you can gather your beach hooks. These adorable beach hooks just make the whole project! You can find them here.

I measured every 4 inches across the board since it was 16 inches across. The hooks were all a bit different shape so I put them all on their marks how they fit best and looked best to the eye – so not all were exactly on their marks.

I erased the light pencil marks. Then I drilled holes where my marks were with an electric screwdriver.

I LOVE these Distress Ink Pads. You can find them here. I have used every single one of them so I suggesting getting all 4. I used the Antique Linen for this project.

I just rubbed the pad along all edges of the board and it added just the perfect amount of distressing that I wanted.
