Supplies
Barnwood or wood plank
Dollar tree tile
Cardinal Red Acrylic Paint
Black Acrylic Paint
Burlap Ribbon
Lace Ribbon (Dollar Tree)
Button
Tools
Scissors
Glue Gun
Start with a piece of barn wood. Another option if you do not have barn wood you can check out this link for barn wood on Amazon. These are great for crafts!

One Dollar Tree tile. (actually, you will only need half a square tile)

I cut this is half because this is the width of the barnwood, and this is all I will need. I will save the other half for something else down the road! Trust me this tile is worth keeping!

I placed the tile on the barnwood so I would know exactly how big I wanted my heart. Remember your heart DOES not need to be perfect – that is what makes it crafty and neat!

Then I took a thinner piece of burlap ribbon and tied one strip long enough to wrap around the center and glued it in place.

Then grabbed a piece of my lace ribbon and tied that around making a knot.

I thought it needed a little extra something, so I put a little glue in the middle to add a button! This set it off so nicely!

You can add some jute rope on the back or a claw hanger to use it for hanging…

Or it is pretty just sitting out on a shelf.
